How to Make Your Own Essential Oil Perfume

Essential oil fans…have you made your own perfume before?

It’s so easy!

STEP ONE

Find a great recipe. We have some beautiful DIY, all-natural perfumes you can check our recipes page here

STEP TWO

Gather you supplies. We love to up-cycle empty essential oil bottles or order in some supplies from a online store like oillfe.com

STEP THREE

Think about which type of carrier oil you will use for your base. We love grapeseed oil, argan oil ad fractionated coconut oil. We have an entire blog post all about carrier oils you can find on Amazon.

STEP FOUR

Add your essential oils, carrier oil, swirl it up and that’s it! One thing to note…after the perfume sits for about a week the essential oils will marinate nicely and a beautiful fragrance will emerge. The smell you can sniff straight away will change over time.

STEP FIVE

Add a label and gift to a friend or keep in for yourself. We like to have super cute ones that we get here! I love to keep it next to my make-up so I always remember to dab a drop on my neck or run in through my hair.
